The Arts and Sports Centre

This is an extended school day activity club open to both BISC students and young people from the local community. Offering various fun activities to promote sports, the arts, technology and creativity for young people from the age of 4, these enriching club run from 4pm – 5pm, Monday to Thursday and are led by specialist coaches and teachers.

The academy promotes an inclusive, safe environment where players are free to progress at their own pace while enjoying the professional feel of facilities and coaching in a football environment. Our professional coaches provide you with the perfect environment for your superstar to train and compete. We offer great facilities, including our wonderful new astroturf football pitch and our young players are introduced to the basic techniques & rules of football in a fun, challenging environment. Swimming

FOR SAFE, CONFIDENT, AND INDEPENDENT SWIMMERS

Swimming is one of the most popular sports in Morocco. Our nation is surrounded by water and swimming is one of our great passions. As well as being fun, swimming is a great way to keep fit, stay healthy and make friends. Swimming is a healthy activity that you can continue for a lifetime. It is a low-impact activity that has many physical and mental health benefits, not least that this is the one skill which can help save your life. Therefore, BISC is the ideal place for your child to learn the true benefits of this wonderful sport.

  • From 4 to 7 years old

    Adaptation to the aquatic environment Learning how to breath and float.

  • From 7 to 10 years old

    Learning how to kick, free-style and back stroke practicing technical drills for free-style and back stroke Learning how to swim efficiently.

  • From 10 to 12 years old

    Perfectioning the four strokes and then advancing on to competition level events.

Music

MUSIC LASTS A LIFETIME

Our style of music teaching aims to develop general and specific learning skills that children will use beyond musical studies:

  • Academic and social skills

  • Emotional confidence and working with others

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Focus and concentration

  • Language, memory, logic and general creativity

  • Cognitive abilities also used in maths, language and thinking

  • Fine/Gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination

Classes will provide joyful learning experiences, which prepare and inspire children to begin an individual music pathway.

ABOUT OUR MUSIC LESSONS

Our music teachers use a variety of styles from classical to popular music, in line with the UK Music
Teachers’ Board. Our teachers are ready to help you become the musician you want to be and to
share their love of music with you.

PIANO / GUITAR / DRUMS

Receive an introduction to music theory and music performance through a play-based programme. The introduction includes music techniques, the use of harmony and the chance to play classical pieces or modern music.

DANCE

We extremely are proud to be the only school in Morocco to provide the internationally renowned ‘Little Beatz’ dance programme. Created specifically for children aged 4 – 12, this wonderful introduction to the joys of dance allows them to then progress onto higher awards.
Dancing is not only a great way to maintain physical fitness, but also helps our improve mental health. It promotes coordination, flexibility, muscular strength and cardiovascular health. At the same time, dancing releases endorphins, thereby improving mood and reducing stress. In short, dance goes well beyond simple choreographed movements.
Teaching is done by our resident UK trained & qualified dance instructor and will encompass a multitude of different disciplines, including:

  • Street and Hip Hop
